November Meeting: Karen Griska Trunk Show

"Paperweights" is a fusible applique quilt. Photos by Donna Bruno.

Karen Griska showed us many of her quilts at the November meeting. Some of her favorite quilts are made by eye, using 1" strips (below). She wrote the book "Quilts from the Selvage Edge" (AQS 2008). See Karen's blog here: Selvage Blog, and Etsy shop here: KarenGriskaQuilts

"Fandango" is made by eye, no foundations.

"Pine Burr" is made with 1,800 prairie points!

"Houndstooth" is fast and easy. See meeting handout for details.

"Camelot" is a fun scrap quilt.

Karen will be back in March to lead a workshop. Stay tuned for details!
